Family Night: Indoor/Outdoor Scavenger Hunt

Looking for a new way to spend quality time with your family? Try an indoor-outdoor scavenger hunt! Scavenger hunts not only tap into your family’s competitive side, they also create a great opportunity for team building, laughs, and fond memories for years to come.

To begin, split into two teams.

Next, see which team can find all the items on the list the fastest! Ready, set, GO!
The best snack in the house – and try not to eat it before the game’s over!

  1. A plant from outside – try not to pull up anyone’s garden!

  2. A critter – it could be a spider, squirrel, or the neighbor’s dog, but you have to take a picture for proof!

  3. Five different colored markers – you might want to hold on to these for later!

  4. Your parent’s favorite t-shirt – let’s see how well you know your mom and dad!

  5. Your sibling’s favorite toy – if you have more than one sibling, just choose one!

Next, complete all the activities below:

  1. Capture the goofiest selfie you can – everybody say, “CHEESE!”

  2. Climb a tree – but be careful!

  3. Make the most creative sandwich you can think of – if you want to go above and beyond, choose one person on your team to try a bite!

  4. Draw a family portrait – let’s see who the next Picasso is!

  5. Eat your favorite snack that you found in the last round – unless you already have!
